I invite the current UC Regents to read the 2012 book by Seth Rosenfeld titled "Subversives: The FBI's War on Student Radicals, and Reagan's Rise to Power." Using FBI files released under the Freedom of Information Act after a 27 year court battle, the book describes Reagan's war against the students, faculty, and administration of the UC system while he was governor of CA. To have Reagan's name on any building in the UC system is a travesty. It is also a dishonor to the innocent people murdered and maimed by riot police under Reagan's martial law policy during the 1969 People's Park protest in Berkeley.
